MilkClock

Terms of Use

Last updated: August 23, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the MilkClock mobile application (“MilkClock”, the “App”) provided by Baran Erdem (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using MilkClock, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. The service

MilkClock is a timing aid for caregivers. It helps users record local bottle-related sessions, view selected countdowns, and optionally receive reminders or Live Activity updates.

MilkClock is not a medical device, healthcare provider, diagnostic service, food-safety certification, or substitute for professional advice. It does not determine whether milk or formula is safe, and it does not recommend feeding amounts. You are responsible for checking current official guidance and making decisions appropriate to your circumstances.

3. Guidance and accuracy

Timing windows shown in MilkClock are based on the selected public guidance source and may depend on assumptions, conditions, region, and version. Official guidance may change. We do not guarantee that a displayed timer is complete, current, or appropriate for every situation.

Do not use MilkClock as the sole basis for an urgent, medical, or food-safety decision. When in doubt, discard food and seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional or official authority.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate selections and times when using the App;
  • reviewing the timer and notification settings;
  • keeping your device, operating system, and App reasonably up to date;
  • using the App in compliance with applicable laws and the App Store rules;
  • not relying on the App as a replacement for professional medical or safety advice.

5. Subscriptions

Some MilkClock features require an auto-renewable subscription. Subscriptions are offered through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s payment and media services terms.

  • The available plans, prices, billing periods, and introductory offers are shown in the App and may vary by country, currency, tax, and App Store settings.
  • A monthly introductory offer may be shown only when Apple/StoreKit determines that you are eligible. Eligibility is controlled by Apple and the subscription group, not by MilkClock.
  • Unless canceled, a subscription automatically renews at the price shown by Apple for the next billing period.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account in accordance with Apple’s terms. We do not receive your payment card details.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. Canceling stops future renewal but does not normally refund the current period.
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s applicable policies.
  • You may use “Restore Purchases” in MilkClock to synchronize an eligible purchase with the current device or Apple ID.

For the exact renewal date, price, trial conversion, and cancellation options applicable to you, review the purchase sheet and your Apple subscription settings.

6. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MilkClock on Apple devices that you own or control for lawful personal use.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, attempt to extract source code, interfere with the App, bypass subscription controls, or use MilkClock to build a competing service, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

7. Local data and device features

Timer and history data is primarily stored on your device. You are responsible for your device, backups, and preventing unauthorized access. Deleting the App or using the local deletion option may permanently remove local bottle history. Notifications and Live Activities depend on iOS permissions, device settings, battery state, and system availability.

8. Third-party services

MilkClock uses Apple services, RevenueCat subscription infrastructure, Supabase services, and system features such as notifications and Live Activities. Those services may have separate terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

9. Ownership

MilkClock, including its software, design, name, branding, text, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue parts of MilkClock, including features or subscription plans, where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MilkClock is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, availability, and non-infringement to the extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baran Erdem and the App’s licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from or related to your use of MilkClock. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL and update the date above. Your continued use of MilkClock after the updated Terms become available means you accept the changes.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, with Ankara, Türkiye as the relevant jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
