MilkClock
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 23, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Baran Erdem (“MilkClock”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in the MilkClock mobile application.
Operator location: Ankara, Republic of Türkiye
Contact: baranerdem@protonmail.com
2. What MilkClock does
MilkClock is a timing utility for caregivers. It helps users track selected bottle-related timing windows and can show reminders, Lock Screen information, and Live Activities when the user enables those features.
MilkClock is not medical advice, a diagnostic service, or a guarantee that milk or formula is safe. Guidance can change and individual circumstances vary. For health or feeding questions, consult an appropriate healthcare professional and the applicable official guidance.
3. Information stored on your device
MilkClock stores the core timer and history information locally on your device. This can include:
- bottle or feeding context selected in the app;
- timer reference times, feeding times, deadlines, and completion status;
- guidance rule metadata, such as the selected source, region, version, and rule identifier;
- app preferences and local notification state.
MilkClock does not upload the bottle/session history itself to our analytics service. You can delete local bottle data from Settings using “Delete Local Bottle Data”.
4. Limited analytics and anonymous account data
If the required network services are available, MilkClock creates or reuses an anonymous Supabase authentication account so that product analytics can be associated with one anonymous app installation. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or social media account to use the app.
Analytics may include:
- an anonymous user identifier;
- event names such as app opened, onboarding completed, notification interaction, paywall interaction, purchase flow result, and timer actions;
- app version, build number, and locale;
- limited event properties such as selected plan, trial eligibility, notification status or type, a non-sensitive failure category, and whether an entitlement was found.
We do not intentionally send baby names, birth dates, gender, photos, contacts, bottle amounts, medical conditions, diagnoses, health records, free-form notes, exact bottle/session timestamps, bottle/session identifiers, receipts, or transaction identifiers as analytics data.
5. Notifications and Live Activities
When you grant permission, iOS may deliver local reminders scheduled by MilkClock. The app also uses Apple system features such as Live Activities when available and enabled. These features are controlled by iOS settings and are not required for the core local timer to work.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store using Apple’s in-app purchase system. MilkClock uses RevenueCat to load subscription products, process purchase and restore flows, and read the current MilkClock Premium entitlement. We do not receive or store your payment card number.
Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase, subscription, app-user, and entitlement information under their own privacy policies:
7. Service providers
We use service providers to operate limited parts of MilkClock:
- Supabase for anonymous authentication and limited product analytics. See the Supabase Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat for subscription product and entitlement infrastructure.
- Apple for App Store distribution, in-app purchases, notifications, and operating-system features.
We do not sell personal information and do not use MilkClock analytics for cross-app targeted advertising.
8. Retention and deletion
Local timer and history data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, remove the app, or otherwise remove the device data through iOS. Some data may remain in device backups managed by Apple according to your device settings.
We retain limited analytics and anonymous service records only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve MilkClock, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We periodically delete or anonymize data that is no longer needed.
To request deletion or information about an anonymous account or analytics data associated with your use of MilkClock, contact us at baranerdem@protonmail.com. We may need enough information to identify the relevant anonymous record and may retain information where required by law or for legitimate security and accounting purposes.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can also control notifications and local data through iOS and MilkClock settings. Contact us to exercise applicable rights.
10. Children’s privacy
MilkClock is intended for caregivers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
11. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited information processed by MilkClock. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their policies and applicable safeguards.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when MilkClock, our providers, or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated version at this URL and update the date above. Your continued use of MilkClock after an update means the updated policy applies to future use.
